On keeping a ledger
A sample essay. Replace this file with your first real post.
This is a placeholder essay so you can see how long-form posts look. Every post is a plain Markdown file in the src/writing/ folder. The block at the top (between the two --- lines) sets the title, the one-line summary, and the date.
Headings work like this
Write the way you would in any notes app. Paragraphs are separated by a blank line. Italics and bold work, and so do links.
Block quotes are set apart for when you want to quote someone at length.
To make a post the big feature on the home page, add featured: true to its top block. Otherwise the newest post takes that spot. To give a post a cover image, put the image in src/img/ and add cover: /img/your-image.jpg and coverAlt: a short description of the image.
